The Faces of RMB Latitudes 2026: Artists, Collectors
Each year, RMB Latitudes Art Fair brings together the many voices that shape the African art ecosystem. In 2026, in the lead-up to the Fair, we present a new video campaign that shines a spotlight on a selection of these voices.
This year’s series offers a set of intimate, behind-the-scenes portraits that trace the rhythms of the art world — from moments of making to acts of curation, collecting and exchange. Through personal reflections, studio visits, collection walkthroughs and candid conversations, the campaign reveals not only what these individuals do, but how and why they do it.
At its core, the series is about connection: the relationships, influences and shared commitments that sustain a vibrant cultural landscape. It speaks to the idea that the art world is not a singular narrative, but a network of intersecting practices and perspectives — each contributing to a broader, evolving story.
The 2026 campaign continues to celebrate diversity across disciplines, generations and geographies. From emerging practitioners to established figures, each participant reflects a distinct voice and vision, offering insight into the many ways contemporary African art is produced, supported and experienced today.
Filmed on location, the series is designed to build anticipation for the Fair while also creating space for deeper engagement with the people behind the work. Released across digital platforms, it extends the reach of RMB Latitudes and reinforces an ongoing commitment to accessibility, storytelling and community-building.
Whether you are an artist, a collector, or simply curious, we invite you to explore the series and encounter the many perspectives that shape RMB Latitudes Art Fair.
